M&E works to this prestigious TV, Film and music recording studio built in 1884 by the Natural history museum architect Alfred Water House consisted of new offices and client relaxation areas, with a fully refurbished kitchen, Café, administrative offices, WC’s and reception area. Close coordination with the client and their busy recording schedule enabled works to be carefully programmed to ensure minimum disruption. Works included new water, ventilation, and power services for the restaurant grade kitchen. Bespoke lighting solutions to all areas including the main reception Aktura ceiling. General power and data installed to ensure adequate provision within the office areas with temperature control a mixture of radiator, underfloor and water-based Fan coil units all supplied from the existing gas and A/C heating and cooling systems. A new Fire alarm system was installed to integrate with the existing system providing coverage in areas not associated with our works.
